Lead Acid Battery Solution

ALUX OPzS 2500Ah 2V Tubular Gel Battery (OPzS2500)

ALUX OPzS 2500Ah 2V Tubular Gel Battery (OPzS2500) is a 2 V 2,500 Ah tubular gel battery in a 487 × 212 × 772 mm case weighing 125 kg, rated for deep-cycle duty in telecom, UPS and substation standby. Dimensions, terminal type and weight are listed in the specification table.

Product Overview

The ALUX OPzS2500 is a 2 V 2,500 Ah OPzS tubular gel cell, 487 × 212 × 772 mm over the case (847 mm including terminals) and weighs 125 kg. The OPzS range uses thick tubular positive plates for large-capacity, long-duration discharge — utility and substation duty rather than short high-rate bursts. Cells are series-connected into the bank voltage, with 8 M10 × 20 terminals per cell.

Key Features

  • Thick tubular positive plates — a heavy tubular plate design built for large-capacity, long-duration discharge rather than short high-rate bursts.
  • Gel electrolyte — immobilised acid keeps tall cells homogeneous and the battery maintenance-free.
  • High-temperature tolerance — rated for cabinets and shelters at 35–70 °C.
  • Glass-fibre separator — high-absorption separator holds electrolyte against the plates and extends cycle life.
  • High-strength ABS container — moulded case and lid for stationary banks.
  • Bolt terminals — threaded posts, terminal count as listed, for copper connector bars.
